About Me

My photo
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, now living in Cheshire, England. Six years ago, I started writing poetry and short stories as a hobby; I've enjoyed that new venture very much. My preferences are for long and micro-form poetry styles. A first book of poetry ~ Reason Without Rhyme, was published in December 2013. A second book ~ Fifty Seven Pebbles, was published in September 2015...I am presently compiling the content for my third book. Thank you for visiting my Blog which is regularly updated. Ulster's Way....

Healing waters lap its shoreline,
The Coast Road hugs the landside.
County Antrim peering seawards,
Glimpsing its Scottish neighbours.
Memories are easily formed there,
Most return with older days in mind.
Sunday afternoons with the old folk,
Those same picnic stops at Ballygally.
An aura of goodness seeps inwards,
It stays forever within every heart.
Many artists have captured the vista,
Painted, or in long lingering verses.
This place urges peace in its midst,
Ulster’s ways thrive in its shadow.
